First of all. The images that you see can be significantly impacted by the brightness and contrast settings on your monitor. Hopefully the lightness bar shown below will help. Please adjust your brightness and contrast controls as best you can so that you can distinguish between each of the percentage segments.
Now, about the site.
The menu on the upper left will stay in place as you wander about. Just click on the word for where you want to go. In some cases it may open up another level (where there is a little arrowhead pointing to the right). This will take you to the various parts of the site and each those should be fairly self-explanatory. But, just in case let me provide a bit of guidance:
Home: Where you are right now
Elegant Eighteen: A number of keywords each with eighteen significant images from my collection - as defined by yours truly. I am open to suggestions as to what keywords I should select -- as well as whether or not you may have seen other images in my collection that you feel or better than the one (s) that I have selected. Just send me an email with additional keywords that you would like to see added to the list, or comments on images that I have missed. This opens a second browser window.
Slideshows: This will also provide a second level of menus that will provide a choice of a number of slide shows that will open up a second browser window and will display in a fairly large screen size a slide show of images. (When you have finished the slide show, just close that browser and we'll be here waiting for you.) Warning! Most of these shows are band-width intensive and not recommended for dial-up users. Warning!
Articles: A collection of articles that I have written explaining various workflow's, why I copyright, etc. and a repository for old trip reports.
Biography: Rather obvious what this is.
Sales Information: Information for those that might be interested in purchasing a print of one of these images, or using an one on a web, in a brochure, etc.
Susan's Quilts: My wife, Susan, is an excellent designer of custom art quilts. I have included some images of some of her designs as she has folks that have asked to see her work.
